A 45-year-old man has been arrested in the Singapore after footage of him performing a reckless overtake in his Lambo Huracan Spyder surfaced online.
Earlier in the month, the dashcam video was posted on Facebook showing the moment the bright blue Lambo Huracan squeezed between one a and the van while traveling at high speed.
Despite the left-lane of the road being completely free of traffic, this driver opted for the immensely dangerous maneuver. Thankfully, no one was injured in the stunt, and that didn’t stop local authorities from stepping in. After investigating the video below, local police were able to track down the Huracan’s owner and took him into custody on October 11, and while also confiscating the Lambo,
The Sun reports. Viral photos of the Lambo Huracan being towed away from the police station popped up on social media. Heng See Meng, who filmed this stunt with his dashcam, said: My family were with me in the vehicle at the time.
It was the very scary experience. I really hope all drivers respect road discipline and not bring danger to other road users. And it’s not yet known if the driver remains in custody or what charges he could face. Well, this case once again proves the power of social media, particularly when it comes to reckless driving.
