Get back to the Eighties with this one. At the height of the Hot Rod Association Monster truck racing, the world could enjoy massive machines racing and wrecking indoors. This definitely was the ultimate in ‘Merican racing development and the racing series was getting a proper publicity at the time.
This is a video reminding us about all the fantastic racing Monster trucks gave us back in the Eighties. Dubbed the U.S. Hot Rod Association in the 1980s the video sent us back in time when you actually had to go somewhere to witness the greatness of monster trucks or anything else the Hot Rod Association was doing. And they did a lot. Monster trucks were only one part of a much greater organization.
Luckily, at this point we can see racing, pulling, jumping, crashing in Epic 80’s vibe. All with music from the Eighties. As noted under the video on the YouTube, the Hot Rod Association did a lot for a racing scene in the US.
“In January of 1986, the USHRA hosted “Return of the Monster Trucks,” a side-by-side monster truck racing event, at the New Orleans Superdome, which helped boost the growing popularity of monster truck racing. This video pays tribute to some of the best competition at U.S. Hot Rod events in the 1980s.”
