Hard to believe, and Jerry Seinfeld’s series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is about to embark on its ninth season.
The show, where Seinfeld picks up the famous comedian in some sort of offbeat vintage vehicle and jaunts around to coffee shops and the restaurants talking about nothing, will debut its latest season on January 5th, 2017, on Crackle.
Seinfeld’s Season 9 guests include Bob Einstein, Cedric the Entertainer, Christoph Waltz, Lewis Black, Kristen Wiig and Norm Macdonald.
More importantly for us, the cast of vehicles looks particularly delicious, with the Porsche 356, a Volvo Amazon, a BMW 507 and the Cadillac El Dorado among them.
Oh, and you will note one modern car in the mix: The all-new Acura NSX, which recently nabbed this magazine’s 2017 Performance Car of the Year title.
And to our memory, this is the first current-day production car featured on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee—though with Acura as the title sponsor of the series, it’s no real surprise.
Here is the first trailer for Season 9. To see the whole series, tune your internet device to Crackle every Thursday starting January 5th.
