When people mention badass muscle cars, the talk usually revolves around Mustangs, Camaros or Corvettes. However, there are a ton of these “less known” rides out there, which are simply off the hook! Fortunately, we’ve met a lot of them through this awesome series.
Naturally, we are talking about muscle car of the week. Today, we will take a closer look at the 1971 Buick GS 455 Convertible. While it lacked the flamboyant styling or flare which some of its competitors used to posses, you cannot deny that in back, this vehicle simply looks completely insane! Without huge chrome pieces, subtle details, such as the thin red stripes on the side made it stand out even more.
Still, stunning looks weren’t the only thing impressive about the 1971 Buick GS. Under the hood we find a massive 454 engine, the largest motor GM ever fitted to a mid-seize car at the time! Performances didn’t blow anyone away, but it’s safe to say that this ride caught many by surprise in the quarter mile! Fin out more details on it from the video below.
Whoa.. that was a crazy video. Now check out this next one!
