The quarter mile race is more than enough to prove the main differences between a hypercar and a supercar, but is it really the case here?
This awesome video uploaded on YouTube shows a Lamborghini Huracan taking on a more expensive, rarer and the more powerful Porsche 918 Spyder, on a drag strip, and while on paper, the German exotic is way faster, the result may surprise you in the real world.
And before checking out the footage, we will remind you that both models have all-wheel drive, but the Porsche 918 Spyder uses a hybrid powertrain with the V8 and electric motors, which produce 900 PS (887 horsepower) and 1,280 Nm (940lb-ft) of torque.
The hypercar needs just 2.5 sec to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and it can go up to the limited top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). The Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 on the other hand has the 5.2-liter V10, capable of sending 610 PS (602 horsepower) and 560 Nm (413lb-ft) of torque to the wheels.
The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration takes just 3 seconds and top speed stands at 325 km/h (202 mph). And even though nothing was mentioned by the poster, we are not entirely sure if the Lambo was completely stock. Place your bets!
That is sooo crazy. More crazyness in the next video below!
