LeTourneau L-2350
Holding the Guinness World Record for the “Biggest Earth Mover,” the LeTourneau L-2350 is designed to center-load haul trucks with capacities of up to 400 tons. Among giant trucks, the biggest Earth mover provides an operating payload of 160,000 pounds, a 24-foot lift height, and an 11.5-foot reach. In 2011, Joy Global acquired the company adding P&H to the equipment designation so this is now called LeTourneau P&H L-2350.
NASA Crawler Transporter
The NASA Crawler Transporter is an enormous vehicle that can move spacecrafts from NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to Launch Complex 39. For 30 years, it was also used to transport space shuttles to the launch area. Although there are other much bigger moving machines, it is the largest self-powered land vehicle in the world.
