The new Acura NSX has the top speed of 191 mph. We know this because Honda says so, not because we have seen video of the supercar going that fast. Well, there are very few places where the speed that high can safely be hit anyway.
Honda doesn’t seem to be overly concerned with showing this world just how fast its new halo vehicle can go. So how do we really know that the new Honda NSX can hit 191 mph?
Well, there’s the video below from German outlet Auto Bild showing the NSX doing 309 km/h on the autobahn. Well, is that good enough?
In case you were wondering, 309 km/h equals 192.004 mph. The video below of the run isn’t very epic as the camera is focused squarely on the road ahead, or the speedometer, at all times.
Still, watching the Honda NSX’s speedo race up is pretty entertaining on its own. The NSX has been rolling off the assembly line for the few months now and has been in the hands of journalists for even longer, yet this is the first time we have seen someone push the hybrid to the limit.
Hopefully the video encourages Honda to release the top speed run of its own.
That was really over the top. What do you think of this next video?
