Alfa Romeo and FCA spent 25 million bucks promoting the Italian brand to the US public at the SuperBowl. They aired three commercials – all of them for the Giulia and all of them rounding up to two and a half minutes of time on air. That is huge for the SuperBowl.
Nevertheless, we can see that Alfa did not use all the money for the production of the adds as they’ve actually used the footage already filmed previously. What is more, it seems that they’ve used the footage from the Stelvio trailer once. See that moment when a woman tries to step out of the car!? The same footage can be seen on the Stelvio Commercial too.
Nevertheless, this is their second attempt at entering the US market and presenting themselves to the public. No one knows if it’ll be successful, but it’s what it has to be done for the Alfa Romeo to become a major player in the world.
They have the Giulia sedan and the Stelvio SUV. We can expect a smaller hatchback – Giulietta – probably with RWD and then some other larger SUVs and maybe a full-fledged sports cars. For now, though, if you are in the market for an Alfa, you better pick between the Giulia or the Stelvio.
After all, the 4C is a limited edition car and it’s a freaking tiny.
