The 911 Turbo S has always taken great pleasure in challenging Italian exotics, but there’s quite the distance between the quickest all-wheel-drive model in the Neunelfer line-up and the supercar like the Lamborghini Aventador.

However, with the 991 generation of a rear-engined coupe having received its mid-cycle revamp and the Lambo Aventador still waiting for its facelift, the performance gap between the two has decreased – and for those of you who missed them, here are some spyshots of the revised Aventador.

The video below showcases the now-smaller velocity difference between the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the standard Aventador, allowing us to enjoy the drag race that involves the pair of supercars.

Their drivers decided to engage in the half-mile brawl, having gotten together at the event called Shift-S3ctor California Airstrip Attack.

The two lined up for the standing start, with the Christmas Tree being replaced by the human. None of these supercars had kept its factory stock aura

However, a speed comparison in this video isn’t entirely accurate, since both vehicles had been gifted with what can be described as light mods. As far as a tech side that’s relevant here is concerned, we are not aware of the Raging Bull’s gym visit results, and we can tell you the 911 had received an ECU remap.
