Even if you don’t consider yourself a car enthusiast, chances are you’ve probably heard of the most famous endurance race in the world called 24 Hours of LeMans. Well, today, guys from Youtube show Roadkill will attempt to complete a similar challenge.
Naturally, as they don’t have the budget nor the expertise to pull of that feat, they chose something more intended for weekend racers. This race is hilariously titled 24 Hours of LeMons, and it involves beater cars competing on a 1,800 mile trip from Moscow, Pennsylvania, to Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama.
Considering the longitude and difficult snowy conditions they’d have to face, you’d expect the guys to buy a trustworthy vehicle, but instead, they opted out for this 1978 Lincoln Continental, previously owned by an Elvis impersonator.
Furthermore, it’s not exactly in perfect condition either, being terribly modified into a two-door! To make matters even more interesting, the guys had to face a whole bunch of mechanical problems along the way. Will they be able to complete the race? Click on the video and find out.
